One of the quickest ways to create complex shapes in any CAD product is to bring, simple, existing objects together to form a new object. This might sound complex but MacDraft offers a simple solution with its Add (Union) tool. Select any two overlapping single objects and navigate to the Advanced Tools in the left panel / Advanced Tools palette. Choose Add (Union) and the objects will merge together. You can then select that same object again with another to increase that level of complexity. Once you are happy with the object it will behave as other drawn objects and can be edited, resized and coloured to your preference.
